To read about Women and the Family during the time of Jesus, I looked at Bella and Liz's, and Molly's websites. On Bella and Liz's, I especially liked how they had a video along with pictures. One interesting fact i learned from their website was that divorce was possible, but you had to declare it in front of seven people who served as witnesses. If I were to improve one thing to make their website better, i would revise the paragraphs checking for spelling and grammar mistakes. Molly also did an excellent job. One thing i enjoyed about Molly's website, was how she started off the sections with a question. It enticed me to want to read more. An interesting fact I learned is that for married and unmarried women, adultery was excepted and prevalent. If i were to improve on one thing, it would be to make the font bigger on the Jobs page.

In order to gain knowledge about women and familial structure during the time of Jesus, I viewed the websites created by Bella, Liz, and Molly. I thought that Liz and Bella’s website regarding family was extraordinarily well organized, and the inclusion of the video clip was a nice touch. Molly’s website concerning women was tremendously informative and well laid-out. Before visiting Liz and Bella’s website, I was ignorant of the fact that blocks of buildings together were known as insulae. In addition, I was previously unaware that the father reserved the right to sell his offspring into slavery. Additionally, by reading Molly’s website, I was informed that married women were known as “matrons”, and I also had no previous knowledge that the rights of women were not recognized in court. Although both websites were well made, they still had a couple of issues. For example, Liz and Bella’s website could have been improved by checking the spelling and grammar once more, and by eliminating the unnecessary and unedited “About” page. To improve Molly’s website, adjusting the color scheme to allow more contrast between some of the lighter yellow headings and white background would have enhanced the site’s readability.

I visited Liz and Bella's, and Molly's websites to learn more about women and the family during the world of Jesus. What brought my attention when I looked at Liz and Bella's website was first the visual part of it. It was organized really creatively, and I loved the style, colors, and pictures included. The video was also a nice touch. I found it interesting that seven people had to witness the declaration of divorce before it was accepted. I was surprised to find out that fathers often sold their sons and daughters into slavery, as well. I would fix the grammar and wording on their website, though, and delete the "About" page. On Molly's website, I loved all the different pictures she had and the simple and clear way she organized her information so I could easily understand it. I was interested by the fact that most Christians were women and that women often joined men's hunting parties. I would've made the text on the home page a different color so I can read it better over the picture, though.

To learn about families I found my way to the website of Bella and Liz. When I first opened the page I was astonished to find such wonderful color coordination. One fact I learned was that fathers had the ability to sell their children into slavery. I also learned that before children reached their teenage years they would usually already have jobs. One thing I would change is the blank about page, I was excited to see some more awesomeness but was let down somewhat. Overall the website was unreal. The next website I rolled around to was Molly’s for some fun facts about women. Molly’s transitions from page to page were very professional and very well done, it looked like a 1,000$ website. I learned that women were not allowed to be taught in these times, but that Jesus reached out and taught them. I also learned that men and women did not sleep in the same room even if married, which came as a shock to me. I could only find one thing to improve on Molly’s website and that was to make the text on the first page a little easier read, other than that a superb effort and execution!

To learn more about women and the family in the time of Jesus, I viewed the websites created by Bella, Liz, and Molly. I liked the organization of Liz and Bella's website and found the information included to be very helpful. I thought the pictures on Molly's website helped me better understand the information that was written. I learned that the father of a family had the right to sell his sons and daughters into slavery. I found it interesting that women relied on a hairdresser and their morning routine started with doing their hair. Bella and Liz could include pictures that portray life in the time of Jesus instead of pictures of modern life to help the reader visualize what is written. Molly could improve her website by moving the text on the first page so that it isn't covering the picture.

To learn about family life in the time of Jesus, I visited Molly’s website and Bella and Liz’s website. On Molly’s, I really liked the T-chart that contrasted life of the unmarried woman versus life of the married woman in Jesus’ time. On Bella and Liz’s, I found the link on the side of the page that said “Follow Jesus on Instagram” to be very funny. It was extremely interesting to learn about the life of a child back then compared to now. The level of responsibility given to children in Jesus’ time made me think about how much I should be thankful for. I also learned that an unmarried woman usually left her hair flowing freely, but a married woman kept her hair tied back tight. I liked that Bella and Liz’s website had a plethora of pictures, but I would suggest that she make them more accurate to the time period. Molly’s website had great information that I was able to read easily, but I would suggest that she make the color scheme brighter and more intriguing.

In my search to understand more about women and family in the time of Christ, I visited Molly’s and Bella and Liz’s websites. I enjoyed Molly’s website because it was packed with very interesting information. Also, I loved the layout and design of Bella and Liz’s website. Molly’s website taught me that Women's Rights were not recognized in court, and that adultery was prevalent and accepted. I learned that women married as soon as they hit puberty, which was around the age 14, and that in order to get a divorce, the wish to be divorced had to be declared in front of seven people, who acted as witnesses. Molly’s website was did not lack in good information, but she could’ve added more about the treatment of women. Bella and Liz’s website was very informative, but they could’ve added more about family households and jobs.

I was able to learn more about women and the family in Jesus's time by visiting Bella, Liz, and Molly's website. I appreciated that Molly posed some of her information in question/answer form, rather than just listing the information. Liz and Bella made their information accessible by placing it all on the home page with links to more detailed writing. By reading Molly's website, I learned that many Roman women had hairdressers who they relied on daily to do their hair. Liz and Bella's website informed me that after a child's birth, the baby was placed on the ground, and the father must pick up the baby to recognize it as legitimate. Both websites were very well done, but I would suggest writing more information in paragraph form rather than bullets on Molly's website, and making the pictures more historically accurate on Liz and Bella's site.

I read about women and the family from Molly's and Bella and Liz's websites to find out more about how I would be treated if I were living back when Jesus was. Molly's website was very well organized and made me want to read what she had to say. Bella and Liz's website was very appealing. I loved all of the features, especially the video! Well, according to Molly, I would not be treated too well. I would be considered inferior and expected to stay home and take care of the home and possible children. Speaking of children, they were seen as property just like women. I would NEVER treat my children like that! But thanks God that I'm in this century and generation! I would recommend that Molly be a little more informational about her topic. Bella and Liz's website could Be improved by using middle eastern people for their pictures to make them look more realistic. Both were done great!
