To Christie: I really liked the colorfulness of the picture and how it pops out at you. What I found interesting was that carpenters had to know how to do everything like roofs, stairs, doors and even windows. Also that farmers had slaves do a lot of the work. Something you can improve on would probably the background in that it wasn’t really relevant to the topic. Besides that it was really good.

For my second peer evaluation, I gained knowledge from Dominick, Zach and Jake, and Christie’s websites about Occupations during Jesus’ time. I liked the pictures Dominick used, I enjoyed the information on Zach and Jake’s website, and I admired the theme Christie used on her website. I learned from Dominick’s website that Jesus was a carpenter, I learned from Zach and Jake’s website that women helped by retrieving food for the family, and I learned from Christie’s website that fisherman also had another job for daily life. For Dominick’s website, I think he could change the fonts to make it easier to read. For Zach and Jake’s, I think they should have more pictures, and on Christie’s I think she should include her sources.

To learn about the occupations of Jesus' time, I visited Zach and Jacob's, Dominick's, and Christie's website. For Zach and Jacob, I think that the background picture used for the website is very creative and gives you a good sense of what these occupations were like. For Dominick, his background picture looks very good. For Christie, the website was very organized and used the link buttons well. For Zach and Jake, one interesting fact that I learned while looking at this website was that fisherman were well respected in Jesus' time. Another interesting fact is that being a carpenter consisted of crafting and carving wood to make doors, walls, boats, carts, etc. For Dominick, one interesting fact I learned while on his website was that People worked as goldsmiths. Another interesting fact is that As roman trade grew the variety of jobs grew. One interesting fact I learned on Christie’s website is that fisherman had to know what the different fish were so they knew what net they had to use to catch that certain fish. Another interesting fact is that the farmers would buy land and pass it down through the family line because it was more secure than them trading it. To improve your website, Zach and Jake, you can work harder on spelling and providing a little bit more content. For Dominick to improve his website, there could be buttons to go to another page so that all of the text could fit on the page. For Christie to improve her website, she could have used a background that suited her topic better.

To learn more about the occupations available during Jesus' time, I visited Dominick's, Christie's and Zach and Jacob's websites. For Dominick's website I liked that the wording was clear and concise. When visiting Christie's website I enjoyed the colorful background she used, and for Jacob and Zach's website I liked that they highlighted the wording so that it was clear to read. I learned from Dominick's website that the majority of the people lived in the countryside and not in large cities. From Christie's website I learned that carpenters worked on buildings and furnature. From Jacob and Zach's website I learned that fisherman during Jesus' time were very respected. I feel as though Dominick's website could have placed his sources somewhere where they could be read. For Christie'website I think that including her sources would help. For Jacob and Zach's website, I think that adding more pictures could make thew website more pleasing.

I viewed Dominik’s first and I liked that the sentences were easy to read and they flowed really well. I learned that trading and farming were a big part of the life of the people no matter what social class. One thing however, the website was a little confusing and hard to read because of the font and the background picture. Next, I viewed Zach and Jake’s website and I really liked that the paragraphs stood out from the background which made it a lot easier to read. I never knew that it was common to have the same job as a father and that fishermen were respected which I found very interesting. I thought that they could have used a variety of pictures instead of one. Last, I viewed Christie’s I really thought it was clever to use a background that really grabbed my attention, however I thought that it was a little confusing because there was no way of accessing the home page from the other pages. I learned that women were not just busy with their children but they also worked on crafts made from animal skin that they dyed. All websites were very interesting to look at.

On Dom's website I liked how much information he gave. On Zach and Jake's website I like the background they used. On Christie's website I like the lay out of the website and how it all looks. Two interesting facts that I learned on Dom's website are most of the people back then were farmers and these farmers were often very religious. Two interesting facts I learned on Zach and Jake's website are that fishermen back then supplied a lot of food for the common people and it was common back then that a young boy was to have the same job as his father. On Christie's website, two interesting facts that I learned are that fishing was a side job for many men but you needed a lot of skill to do it and the craft of dying came from the Israelites. One thing that Dom could have done bettwe would have been to use a better color font that could be seen. Zach and Jake could have added a little more information to their website. Christie might want to go more in depth with her information if she wants to improve her site.

In order to learn more about occupations during the time of Jesus I visited Zach’s, Dominick’s, and Christie’s websites. When visiting Zach’s website I really liked his background image. Two interesting facts that I learned is that the jobs during Jesus’s time were not diverse and sons usually had the same job as their father. When visiting Dominick’s website I really enjoyed his information. Two interesting facts that I learned are that as Roman trade grew, the variety of jobs grew and many people lived in the country side. Something I really liked about Christie’s website is the theme she chose. Two interesting facts I learned are that you need different nets for different fish and farmers passed down their land because trading it was dangerous. Something Zach’s website can improve upon are the colors he chose. Dominick can improve upon his website by changing the color of his font so it can be read easily. Christie’s website could be improved by adding pictures included on her website.
