I found that food back then wasn’t too different than what we eat today. I sincerely enjoyed the pictures and background art on both sites. I learned that most people expected their crops to grow depending on how they acted (because of God) and that horses were eaten on the occasion whenever there was nothing else to eat. One criticism is that I couldn’t find any works cited on Maddie’s and on Steve’s I had no complaints.

I enjoyed both Maddie and Steve’s websites. Steven did a very nice job with information on the foods of the time, also including a recipe that was popular for that time period. Maddie’s website really put into depth what was eaten, what tools were often used to prepare the meals. A fact from Steve’s website was that wedding cakes contained a lot of fruit because sugar was not used to sweeten the cakes. A fact from Maddie’s website was the Romans made a wooden wheel and put it near a waterfall to create energy to use as a form of agricultural. Steve’s website could have used some better titling, I had a difficult time finding the topic. Maddie’s website was missing its citations.

For my last peer evaluation, I gained wisdom about the types of foods that people ate during the time of Jesus. I enjoyed looking at Steve’s website because of the pictures he used; they were amusing. I liked looking at Maddie’s website because everything was easy to read for me. I learned from Steve’s website that Jesus and his disciples didn’t eat with napkins and forks, and I learned from Maddie’s website that there were two types of goats that made different types of cheese. On Steve’s website, I think he could have organized his information differently, while on Maddie’s website I think she could’ve used a few more pictures. Overall, I enjoyed learning about the food from the time of Jesus.

To learn about food, I visited Maddie's and Stephen's websites. For Maddie's website, the background pictures and other pictures caught my attention very well. For Stephen's website, it is very organized. One interesting fact that I learned on Maddie's website is that Romans did use knives and spoons but not forks. Another interesting fact that I learned is that ovens had the appearance of a beehive. One interesting fact that I learned on Stephen's website is that ancient Romans did have wedding cakes back then but nothing like today, they didn't have ingredients like baking powder and sugar so the cakes were often flat with a lot of fruit to sweeten them up. Another interesting fact is that It was said that God was the decider, if his people obeyed him he would grant no rain but if they disobeyed him rain will come down. One thing that Maddie could do to improve her website is providing more pictures of the items that she is describing. Stephen could improve his website by using a different colored text or filling the text box so that you can read the text more easily.

To Steven Fournier I liked the picture in the background. I didn’t know that wheat was so important in ancient time. I didn’t know that there are two types of wheat. To Maddison Henson I like how well thought out yours was. I didn’t know that there were different types of pans back in ancient times. I didn’t know the ovens looked so different than today’s traditional oven. One thing Steven could focus more on is his text visibility. One thing Maddison could work on is making sure everything fits on the website.

Steven and Maddie’s projects were both put together very nicely. In Stevens project I loved how he had the pictures in the background that helped give the feel of the topic. Maddie’s website was very organized and neatly formatted. She presented her information in a very professional way. An interesting fact in Steve’s project is that back then they didn’t have many desserts. A fact from Maddie’s website that I found interesting is there is different categories of bread such as autopyron. Stevens project was very good but the words are hard to read when the picture is behind it. He could simply use a different colored font. Maddie’s is very good as well but she could have a few more pictures.

To learn about food in Jesus' time I checked out Maddie's and Steve's websites. I really liked how Steve's website was organized and colorful. I loved how easy the information on Maddie's website was to access and read. Something interesting that I learned was that forks and napkins were not used back then! I also learned that the people's water came from springs and wells. Both websites were really good, however I think that Steve should have changed his font so it is a little easier to read. Maddie could improve her website by adding more pictures.

I looked at Stephen’s website first it was nice to see the the recipe for food back in jesus’s time and it seems really good. One thing I learned from Steve’s website was that the people of Jesus believed that God was the decider for the rain or good weather for wheat. Steve could improve his website by maybe putting more information about other foods they had back in Jesus’s time. In Maddie’s website I thought the background was a smart thing to do because wheat was important and probably the most needed food back in Jesus’s time. One fact I learned was that the oven were shaped like beehives and used for baking or roasting. One thing that I think she could improve is the information on the first page all the way to the left it seems to be cut off of your website and you could move it to a different location.

Today I visited Maddie and Steve’s websites. From Maddie’s website I learned that they used wine to add flavor to food because of the high sugar content. I also learned that they were not aloud to eat camels or rabbits. From Steve’s I learned that back then they had wedding cakes, just not as fabulous as ones today. Also napkins and forks were not invented so most people ate with their hands and cleaned up with a small bowl of water. I liked how Maddie put pictures of the food they ate as the background. I liked how Steve’s theme was a food type theme. Once criticism I have for both is that they could have used pictures that were more from that time period. I enjoyed both websites and learned a lot.

I visited Steve and Maddie’s websites to learn about the food and food preparation during the time of Jesus. In Steve’s website, I learned that wheat was very important to the people, and was harvested in May and June. I also learned the recipe for Lucian sausage. The website was very creative and the colors and clip art were very fun and unique! However, I would place the works cited in a space on the website that does not pop out at the viewer, more so than the other articles. Great job! From Maddie’s website, I learned that wine was often imported from Spain, and I also learned the process of making olive oil. The style of the website was very sophisticated and professional, and the wheat background looked very nice with the website content. My only critique would be to make the information a bit more neatly organized. Nice work!

Viewing Stephens website I learned that they had wedding cakes but they did not have ingredients such as backing powder and sugar. One thing that was impressive on his website was the picture. I would have liken to see the background a different color so make the text more visible. Viewing Maddie’s website I learned that they made water mills, also Charcoal fire was used with a brick hearth on it. One thing that she could have done to make it batter was change the background or change the color of the text. I liked that the information was very organized.

Today I learned about food back in time. I really loved the way steve and maddie went about their websites. I really liked how steves pictures caught my eye. I also really liked maddies organization. On maddies I would have liked to see more pictures and on steves more information. I learned that wine was from Spain. I also learned that they cleaned with a small bowl of water after eating with their hands.
