For entertainment, I used Zach Popp’s and Matt Jann’s websites. To start, Zach’s website was very objective oriented and his website got right to the point. The picture used at the top of the page represented what was being explained very well. I learned from Zach’s website that Jesus probably never went to a gladiator fight, for at that time, fights were considered unclean. One suggestion for Zach would be to add another picture maybe, near the information stated on the website. On Matt’s website, there was a lot of information and many pictures, which corresponded with the information well. I learned from Matt’s website that the Campus Martius was a popular playground for the youth, where they engaged in a variety of sports and games. One suggestion for Matt is to not leave as many spaces between the information paragraphs, but otherwise than that, Matt and Zach’s websites were amazing!!

I looked at Zach's and Matt's websites which were about entertainment in the time of Jesus. On Zach's website, he had a very colorful background which I like because it grabbed my attention. Matt' website had very easy to read text which I liked. On Zach's website, I learned that gladiators were normally prisoners captured in Roman conquests or men seeking glory, and also that there were five different types of weapons that were used. On Matt's website, I learned that people hunted animals for recreation as well as for food and that people play with balls our toys in order to pass time. Zach could have improved his website by adding more pictures and Matt could have had a large website title.

To read about entertainment in the time of Jesus I visited Zach’s and Matt’s websites. On Zach’s website I thought his site was set up well and it organized the information neatly. I learned that different types of gladiators had unique weaponry and protection. I think the only thing that would have made it look nicer would be a slide show on the home page. On Matt’s I liked the pictures because they depicted ancient roman times well and they caught my eye. I did not know the Campus Martius acted as a type of playground for children. I think the only thing he could have done better was if his works cited was on a separate page and a bit larger. Overall I thought both sites were very well done!

To learn about entertainment in the time of Jesus I visited Zach's and Matt's website. On Zach's website I loved the background and the way he divided his notes. On Matt's website I liked the pictures he used. Two interesting facts that I learned from both the websites were that one- Roman people hunted animals for recreation and two- that the Battles of Gladiators were the most popular form of entertainment in Rome. One way Matt could have made his websites more better was made his title and work cited bigger. One way Zach could have made his website better was maybe gotten a more clear picture and gotten more pictures in general. I really enjoyed both websites and learned a lot from them.

I looked at Matt Jann and Zach Pop's websites for the topic of Entertainment in Jesus' time. On Zach's website I liked how he has his information set up in an organized fashion with labels. On Matt's website I liked how he has a lot of colorful pictures to represent his information. An interesting fact I learned on Zach's website is that Jesus played dice games. I had no idea that dice even existed back then. An interesting fact I learned from Matt's website is that Romans used to play wall ball which later became the basis for squash. I also learned hunting was considered the best exercise of all. One thing I would change on Zach's website is make the font a little bigger so it is easier to read. Something I would change on Matt's website is change the font color so it stands out from the background a bit more. I enjoyed looking at both websites and I thought they were both very informative.

For Entertainment I went to Matt and Zach's websites. First, I went to Matt's website and really liked his pictures and his organization. I never knew that the Campus Martius acted as a type of playground for kids and that people hunted for food and recreation just like we do(only without our technology). One way Matt could improve his website is to have a bigger title so we can understand what we are reading about. Then, I went to Zach's website and really liked his background and how he wrote a lot of information to get his point across. I never knew that they played dice games because I thought that dice wasn't even invented and that Gladiators were the most popular event of entertainment in Rome. One way Zach could improve his website is to spread out his information a little bit more so it is easier to read. Other than that, both websites were very informative and well made.

For entertainment I looked at Zach Popps and Matt Janns websites. One thing I enjoyed about Zach's website is they way that he styled the information so it was easy to find and look at. Il earned from him that About how there were many different types of gladiators and that they all used different weaponry and had their own distinct fighting styles. One thing that would have mad his website even better is if he would of added more pictures. As for Matts website, I really like all of the pictures he had through the site. I learned from his website that in roman times Campus Matius was a type of playground that children often used. An improvement he could have made is that he could of not spaced out the information as much as he did and try to condense it a little bit. Overall they were both very good websites overall.

To learn about entertainment in the time of Jesus I visited Matt’s website and then Zach’s website. For Zach’s website I really liked his outline and the font he used. I also learned that Jesus played with dice and counters as a kid and that these games were never discussed in The Bible. One thing I would recommend he does different would be to use a different color background as it sometimes doesn’t blend well with words. For Matt’s website I thought that his layout was excellent and very easy to use. One thing I learned was that the Romans used hunting as recreation and also introduced a new species of deer to Britain. One thing that I think he should have done differently was to use a better color pallet for the title as it does not fit well with the rest of the site.

To learn about entertainment in Jesus’ time, I looked at Zach Popp’s and Matt Jann’s websites. In Zach’s website, I liked the neatness and sense of order. In Matt’s website, I liked how he used multiple pictures along with his information. Two interesting facts that I learned from Zach’s website included that the gladiators were the celebrities of their day and that games in Palestine are believed to have been played with dice and counters like today. Two interesting facts I learned from Matt’s website was that children played ball games and adults played games with dice. I also learned that roman people hunted animals for food and recreation. To improve Zach’s website, I would add more pictures to depict the forms of recreation. To improve Matt’s website, I would have changed the text information to a different color because sometimes the white is hard to read. Both websites were extremely well done!

I was interested in Roman recreation, so I looked at Zach and Matt’s website. I liked how Zach used a lot of bold colors on his website. Matt’s website had a lot of relevant pictures that went along with what he talked about. I learned from Zach’s website that there are references to the Olympic Games in the Second Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians. Matt’s website taught me that exercise was considered recreation in Ancient Rome. Zach should make his text bolder and bigger if he is looking to improve his website. Matt’s website could use a more creative header. It was evident that both Zach and Matt but effort into their projects and both did a nice job creating their websites.

One thing I learned on Zach's website was that Jesus probably never went to a gladiator battle. On Matt's website I learn that in Rome there were many chariot race in the Circus Maximus. One thing Zach could have done to make his website better was to included more pictures. Matt's font was hard to read it would be easier If he had chosen a didn't font. I really enjoyed learning about entertainment through Matt and Zach's websites.

To learn about entertainment in Jesus' time I visited Zach and Matt's websites. One thing i liked about Zach's website is it was organized very well and you can see the information easily. On Matt's website i liked the colors he used and his background it draws attention to his website. On Zach's website i learned that gladiators were normally prisoners captured in Roman conquests. On Matt's website i learned romans played a variation of wall ball. One thing Matt can do to improve his website is he can choose a different font color making the writing more visible. One thing Zach can do is make his title box smaller. Zach and Matt did a good job describing entertainment in Jesus' time.

To enlighten myself on entertainment and recreation during the times of Jesus, I visited Matt and Zach’s websites. One thing I loved about Matt’s website was the background that looked like paint; I thought it was a very nice touch. On Zach’s website I really liked how in-depth he described the gladiators, as they were an important part of entertainment in this time period. From Zach’s website, I also learned that the Olympic Games are actually referenced in the Bible, and that in ancient Palestine they are thought to have played board games similar to those that we play today. Two interesting facts on Matt’s website are that Romans not only hunted for food, but for recreation as well, similar to us today, and that chariot races were popular in Rome at the Circus Maximus. To improve his website, Matt could have picked a font that was easier to read. Zach could have included some pictures of the recreation he was describing. Both of these websites were extremely informative and fun to read.
